A leading elderly care provider in the UK is seeking a dedicated Senior Care Assistant to join their team. You will support residents with personal care, monitor their wellbeing, and assist in care planning. The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ 3 qualification and have at least 2 years of experience in a similar environment. A positive attitude and effective communication skills are essential. This role is for a Senior Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, a leading provider of luxury elderly care homes in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and working alongside the care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be on monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting their care, and ensuring that new needs are met. You will be involved in the person-centred care planning process, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans. You will also support residents with their medication requirements, undertake staff supervisions, and act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals.
