Overview

Location: Barnsley
Salary: £14.21 per hour
Hours: 38-44 hours per week (Day and Night shifts available)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Reports to: Home Manager / Deputy Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Care Delivery: Provide and supervise personal care to residents, ensuring dignity, privacy, and respect at all times.
• Team Leadership: Support, guide, and supervise care staff during shifts, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring continuity of care.
• Medication: Administer medication safely and in line with policies and procedures (subject to training and competency).
• Communication: Maintain clear and accurate records, including care plans, handovers, and incident reports.

Working Conditions

• Shifts include weekends, bank holidays, and occasional cover for sickness/leave.
• Role involves physical activity including assisting with mobility and personal care.
• Uniform provided.
