Job description

What will I be doing?

You will be joining the Project Management team and as a Senior Business Analyst you will provide business analysis services to the business during projects and pre-project activities. To succeed in this role you will:

• Lead or participate in multiple projects owning various project documentation, managing scope, determining daily priorities.
• Manage customer relationships and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide leadership to team members and peers.
• Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in information systems.
• Support and align efforts to meet Customer and Business needs / stay current with customer needs and strategies.
• Ensure solutions support the organisations’ business goals/strategy and aligns with IT strategy.
• Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis.
• Create, review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and make recommendations related to proposed solutions.
• Critically analyse business / process requirements of the client and recommend a solution through review, negotiation and agreement.
• Interpret business requirements into technical requirements and interface/communicate recommendations into the IT team to enable technical specification and development.
• Participate in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate system designs and validate proposed solutions.

What are the Requirements?

• Good understanding of business analysis methodologies and techniques, ideally project management practitioner accreditation.
• Significant experience of project methodologies – agile, waterfall, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills including complex data analysis – applying thinking, gathering and analysing information using various tools and techniques.
• Business process improvement techniques and business modelling.
• Critical thinking and problem solving.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
