Job summary

Senior Architectural Designer

Buro Ole Scheeren is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to join our London team. We’re looking for someone to develop and manage new projects in collaboration and independently.

Requirements

• Professional degree in architecture, design or a relevant field
• 8-10 years’ experience in internationally renowned offices
• Effective project management and team leadership abilities
• Proven experience in one or more of the following is considered a plus :
• Architecture Concept Design (small to large scale projects) to Design Development
• Master Planning projects (from initial Design to detailed Design)
• Proven experience in international projects
• Extensive experience in client and consultant communication and management
• Technical understanding and knowledge of current design standards
• Proven experience in (technical) detailing, project related material research and complex problem solving
• Proven experience of different design stages guaranteeing the integrity of the final design
• Very good interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Excellent written and spoken English, additional languages are a plus
• Software skills : proficient in Rhino, AutoCAD and Adobe Suite, additional software skills (Grasshopper, Enscape, etc.) are an advantage
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK
