Job description
Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Compliance andRisk team on a permanent, full-time basis. This Jersey-based role supports the effective delivery of legal and regulatory obligations while ensuring internal standards, systems and controls are maintained. The successful candidate will contribute to the Compliance Monitoring Programme, provide regulatory support across AML, Conduct, and Prudential matters, and assist in the implementation of compliance frameworks across the business.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, execution and reporting of the annual Compliance Monitoring Programme
  • Conduct compliance monitoring across key risk areas and follow up on remedial actions
  • Support Key Persons in meeting CO, MLCO and MLRO responsibilities
  • Contribute to board and committee reporting and support regulatory inspections
  • Assist in implementing and reviewing compliance systems and internal controls
  • Support the development and review of Business Risk Assessments and compliance attestations
  • Assist in the completion of daily compliance operations including CDD escalations and screening
  • Maintain and update compliance registers in collaboration with client teams
  • Assist with policy and procedure reviews, focusing on AML/CFT and Conduct standards
  • Attend and minute internal Risk & Compliance Committee meetings
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years\' experience in a compliance role or relevant fiduciary/funds environment
  • Actively studying or intending to study towards a recognised compliance qualification (e.g. ICA)
  • Solid understanding of Jersey\'s AML/CFT/CPF regime and JFSC Codes of Practice
  • Knowledge of fund, corporate and trust structures
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with compliance tools and databases is an advantage
