A leading communications agency seeks an Associate/Senior Associate in the Risk and Reputation Team. This role involves managing a variety of tasks from project management to media monitoring, offering the chance to support clients directly while collaborating across teams. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and have a background in agency or in-house roles. Sitting as part of the Risk & Reputation team, this role is a unique opportunity to work closely with consumer-facing brands as a trusted reputation advisor. Our team is not made up of ‘pinstripe corporate suits’, and the work we focus on is how to empower brands to boldly communicate on topics such as sustainability, purpose, and their impact – leaning into the opportunities that arise when taking a risk.

You are the foundation of the team, supporting both Golin Risk & Reputation and other teams, working directly into a range of client leads, from brand teams, to communications teams and up to CEOs. You will help research, map and track reputation insights and strategies for campaigns and brand programs, and disseminate information to both the client and internal Golin teams. This role brings the best of both worlds by being ‘hands on’ by executing campaigns and will also provide plenty of opportunities to learn and provide counsel and connecting all the moving parts of the team to bring about best in class execution.
You are a sponge who is constantly looking for opportunities to learn and build on your current agency or in-house experience to advise some of the biggest brands in the world. You are able to skillfully juggle the everyday tasks of keeping both clients and internal team on track, always putting your best foot forward in terms of work-quality and output. You are developing an understanding of earned, paid and owned media, and looking to build relationships by understanding and operating in the Golin G4 model. Crucially, you always “go all in” for your work and supporting the teams you work with.
