SEN Tutor – South Oxford (OX4) & Surrounding Areas

Hourly Rate: £20–£30
Locations: South Oxford (OX4), plus areas such as Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage, and Wallingford

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to support primary-age students with a range of special educational needs across South Oxford and nearby areas.

About the Role

You will deliver 1:1 personalised learning sessions in the student’s home, a local venue, or their school. You’ll be responsible for building strong, supportive relationships, assessing each learner’s individual needs, and planning a tailored scheme of work to help them progress academically, emotionally, and socially.

Essential Requirements
  • QTS or a minimum of 3 years’ tutoring experience
  • Experience supporting students with various SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences
  • Ability to assess learning needs and plan structured, individualised programmes
  • Patient, adaptable, and confident using a range of strategies to engage and support learners
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with families and schools
  • Willingness to travel within South Oxford (OX4) and surrounding South Oxfordshire areas
