A local teaching agency is seeking a passionate SEND Teaching Assistant for flexible work in South Liverpool. SEND Teaching Assistant Primary Schools (South Liverpool)

Location: South Liverpool
Agency: Prospero Teaching
Salary: GBP105 - GBP115 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible supply

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with a range of SEND
  • Assist teachers in delivering differentiated learning activities
  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
  • Monitor and report on student progress
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers and external professionals
Requirements
  • Experience supporting children with SEND (school, care or community settings)
  • A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
  • Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) desirable but not essential
