Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing tailored support to pupils with SEND, both one-to-one and in small groups
  • Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and accessible learning activities
  • Implementing strategies to support learning, communication, and emotional regulation
  • Promoting positive behaviour and helping to maintain a calm, supportive learning environment
  • Assisting with the preparation and use of classroom resources
  • Working collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school where appropriate

Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable, though training and support may be provided for the right candidate. A compassionate and flexible approach is essential.
