SEND Support Worker - Education - Make a Real Difference in Salford! Step Teachers are looking for a passionate SEND Support Worker to join an outstanding special needs school in Salford, supporting students aged 9-19 with Autism and Complex Needs.

Hours and Benefits
  • Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
  • Start: ASAP
  • Pay: £90-£110 per day (depending on experience) - PAYE only, no umbrella companies
  • Contract: Long-term with potential to become permanent

The Role

As a SEND Support Worker, you'll be hands-on in helping students access learning and thrive. You'll provide one-to-one or small group support, offering structure, encouragement, and positive reinforcement to students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs. You'll collaborate with teachers, SENCO, parents, and external professionals to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. You'll also help track progress and raise any safeguarding concerns to ensure every student feels valued and supported.
