Pay: Paid to scale - salary or daily rate equivalent. Start: January 2026. Contract: Full-time, temporary or permanent.

Lead SEN provision and support student progression across a mainstream secondary school.

Empowering Learning are seeking an experienced SENCO to join a busy mainstream secondary school in East London. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of SEN frameworks, and a commitment to student development and achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate the school's SEN provision across KS3-KS5
  • Support pupils with additional needs, including SEN and SEMH
  • Provide guidance, interventions, and strategies for classroom staff to maximise pupil progression
  • Monitor and track outcomes, assessments, and intervention programmes
  • Liaise with parents, external agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support
  • Contribute to whole-school policies and staff CPD on SEN and inclusion
