EN Tutor – Abingdon & South Oxfordshire
Hourly Rate: £20–£30
Locations: Abingdon, Didcot, Wantage, Wallingford, and surrounding areas

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutor to join our team, supporting primary-age students with a range of special educational needs.

About the Role

You will work with students on a 1:1 basis, delivering personalised learning sessions that take place in the student’s home, a local venue, or their school. Your role will involve building strong, trusting relationships, assessing learners’ needs, and planning tailored schemes of work to help them progress academically, socially, and emotionally.

Essential Requirements
  • QTS or a minimum of 3 years’ tutoring experience
  • Experience working with students with a variety of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning differences
  • Ability to assess learning needs and plan structured, individualised programmes
  • Patient, adaptable, and confident in supporting students who may require additional encouragement or behaviour‑support strategies
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with families and schools
  • Willingness to travel within Abingdon and across South Oxfordshire
