Job description

Reeson Education is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Secondary school in St Helens. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils in KS3, providing tailored support to help them thrive in their crucial learning years.

About the Teaching Assistant Role:

  • Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • Support children in KS3 with additional needs such as speech and language delays, social challenges, and early signs of ASD.
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups, encouraging engagement and fostering a love for learning.
  • Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of each child, building their confidence and independence.
  • Occasionally support other classes as needed.
