A specialist centre for adults with complex needs and severe autism just outside of Horsham are offering the opportunity to join their team as a learning support work. This role focuses on developing life skills and promoting independence and will involve work in the community as well.

What can you expect to do on a daily basis as a SEN Teaching Assistant?
  • Enabling and supporting personal development and promotion of independence

  • Collecting and analysing data to monitor progress and adapt learning programmes as necessary
  • Using a calm approach to conflict resolution and behaviour management
