The Role

We are seeking a proactive and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join our team. If you are a caring individual with a passion for supporting students with a range of special educational needs, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Your Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with special educational needs.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to help deliver engaging and accessible lessons for all students.
  • Contribute to a safe and encouraging classroom where students feel secure and motivated.
  • Assist in the social, emotional, and physical development of students.
  • Adapt learning materials and activities to meet individual student needs.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student well-being.
  • Help with the general supervision and support of students throughout the school day.

  • Prior experience working with children or young people is essential, with a preference for experience in an SEN environment.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
