Job summary

An educational service provider is seeking a qualified SEN/SEMH Tutor in Croydon to provide personalized support for children with special educational needs. This role involves one-to-one teaching sessions, helping children integrate back into mainstream education while addressing various difficulties and mental health challenges. Ideal candidates will hold a PGCE with QTS and have at least two years of teaching experience in the UK.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of experience teaching in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service is required.
• Ability to teach children with ADHD, ADD, and Dyslexia.

Responsibilities

• Teach face-to-face in a 1:1 setting.
• Support kids with various mental health issues.
• Help children integrate back into mainstream education.

Overview

Remedy Tutors are looking for a flexible, experienced and qualified SEN/SEMH Tutor to help SEN kids fufill their true potential and intregrate them back into mainstream to complete their GCSE's/SATS.

You will be teaching the face to face in a 1:1 setting either at the child's home with a parent or carer present, or in a local library or in a private room in a school. You will be helping kids that suffer with various difficulties including, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia etc...

You will also have to guide and support kids suffering with various mental health issues such as Depression, Anxiety etc...

Minimum Requirements

• PGCE with a QTS
• Enhanced DBS on the update service
• 2 years experience teaching in the UK
• Knoweledge of SEN & SEMH support
