SEN Primary Teacher
Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate SEN Primary Teacher to join our specialist SEN school in East London. The role involves teaching a small KS1/KS2 class of pupils with complex needs including autism, learning difficulties and SEMH. The successful candidate will plan and deliver a creative, differentiated curriculum that supports academic progress, emotional development, communication skills and independence.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a differentiated curriculum for a small KS1/KS2 class of pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
  • Support academic progress, emotional development, communication skills and independence of pupils.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils who may require additional support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a child‑centred approach to learning and holistic development.
Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
  • Experience of teaching in a mainstream or specialist SEN setting.
  • Passion for SEN and a genuine child‑centred approach to learning.
Salary and Conditions

MPS / UPS plus SEN Allowance, determined at interview.
