Sen College HLTA – North Birmingham
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Rate: £110 – £120 (dependent on experience)

Are you an experienced SEN professional ready to take the next step in a rewarding and impactful role?

Academics, a specialist education recruitment agency, is currently working with a forward-thinking and supportive SEN college in North Birmingham. We are looking to appoint a skilled and passionate SEN college HLTA to join the team on a full-time basis from September 2025.

This SEN College HLTA role is ideal for experienced individuals who are confident supporting students aged 16–25 with complex needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and behavioural challenges.

This is an excellent opportunity to:

Take a leading SEN College HLTA role in supporting the delivery of high-quality SEN education
*

Support students on a 1:1 or small group basis with tailored learning programmes
*

Collaborate with teachers and therapists to implement individual support strategies
*

Gain further experience within a specialist post-16 setting

The Ideal Candidate Will:

*

Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting or teaching students with SEN
*

Hold HLTA status or equivalent qualifications/training
*

Be confident in leading sessions and providing targeted intervention support
*

Be available full-time during term-time from September
*

Be based in or able to commute to North Birmingham
