Overview

SEN Classroom Assistant – Newham & Redbridge (East London)

Salary: 97 - 112 per day

SEN Classroom Assistant – Remedy Education are currently looking for a SEN classroom assistant to provide classroom support within an SEN school. The SEN school has students ranging from mild-severe with some being non-verbal, whilst others have difficulties communicating and/or understanding and are in need of extra support for basic curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support within an SEN school for students with a range of needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience with Visuals, Makaton, PECS or Phonics would be excellent.
• Comfort with personal care tasks (toileting, dressing, feeding) is preferred as some students require such support.
• This role is full-time and starts in September, with high potential to go permanent for the successful candidate.
• You will need an enhanced Child and Adult DBS certificate to be considered for this role.
