  • Act as a key adult for identified pupils, offering consistent emotional support.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff, parents, and external professionals.
  • Monitor and report on pupil progress and emotional well-being.
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and maintain accurate records.

We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team at St Joseph's Catholic School. In this role, you will work closely with pupils who experience Social, Emotional, and Mental Health challenges, helping them to engage in learning and develop resilience. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist in managing behaviour, and deliver targeted interventions. Working alongside teachers, pastoral staff, and external professionals, you will play a key part in creating an inclusive environment where every pupil can thrive.

Key Duties
