SEMH Teaching Assistant – East Bristol

Start Date: January
Contract: Full-time, until end of academic year
Pay: £95-£110 per day

We are seeking a dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 4 pupil in a welcoming primary school in East Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey.

Role Overview
  • Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with SEMH needs.
  • Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and academic engagement.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and interventions.

Requirements

  • Team Teach certificate is preferable but not essential – training can be provided.
