A specialist secondary provision in Basingstoke is seeking a committed and fully qualified Class Teacher to join its team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with additional needs.
The school supports students aged 10–16 with a range of complex needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, and associated learning difficulties. The school environment is nurturing and inclusive, with a focus on building strong, trusting relationships and providing personalised learning experiences that help pupils achieve both academically and personally.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons within a small class setting. They will work closely with a skilled team of teaching assistants and other professionals to support the holistic development of every student. Strong classroom management and a flexible, reflective approach are essential for success in this role.
