An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Business and Economics Teacher to join a dynamic team. They will be responsible for delivering a broad, balanced, and differentiated curriculum, aimed at providing students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. This role includes monitoring and supporting the overall progress and development of students both as a subject teacher and a form tutor.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Develop and implement appropriate programmes of study, resources, and teaching strategies.
  • Plan and prepare lessons tailored to the needs of the students.
  • Track student progress and use this information to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Assess, record, and report on students' attendance, progress, development, and attainment.
  • Provide frequent, personalised feedback to ensure students make outstanding progress.
  • Review the impact of teaching and programmes of study, implementing changes as required.
  • Manage classroom support effectively to maximise learning opportunities.
  • Engage in curriculum development to ensure it meets the needs of students and aligns with school values.
