Overview

To be a Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer you must be: reliable and flexible in what hours you can work, there may be the chance of extra hours too if we're busy; approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service; physically fit and able to move stock around the store, working with deliveries and pallets on your own and as a team; willing and able to help out when needed in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries.

With a love of toys, customer service and an enthusiastic personality, you could be the perfect match to join our team as a Seasonal Sales Assistant.

Key Information about this role

• Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds - £11.00 per hour. 21-year-old plus - £12.21 per hour
• Contract end date: 3rd January 2026
• Our stores will be open 7 days a week so you will need to be able to support us at the weekends including Sundays.
• The hours we have available for this store are:
• A 12-hour per week contract: you may work 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or you might be asked to work two 6-hour shifts.
• An 8-hour per week contract: you will typically be offered 4-hour shifts over 2 days, or perhaps one full day at times.
• A 20-hour per week contract: you may typically be working 4-hour shifts over 5 days.
• So, if you are flexible to work various shifts, including evenings and different days of the week, have a great attitude, and friendly personality, we can make the hours you are available - work for you and us, just make sure you give us as much detail as possible in your application form.
• There may also be an opportunity for you to work extra hours in this role, depending on trade.
• With all our Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts you will also be asked to work Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Years Eve - they're some of our busiest days of the year.
