Overview

To be a Seasonal Sales Assistant at The Entertainer you must be: reliable and flexible in what hours you can work (there may be extra hours if we’re busy); approachable and confident to deliver excellent customer service; physically fit and able to move stock around the store, work with deliveries and pallets, and help out in our local Tesco concession space. Merchandising, keeping the shelves full, talking to customers and handling deliveries are part of the role.

Responsibilities

Key duties include:

• Customer service and engagement
• Merchandising and keeping shelves full
• Handling deliveries and stock movements (including pallets)
• Assisting in the Tesco concession space as needed
• Restocking and price checking

Key Information

• Rates of Pay: 16-20 year olds - £11.00 per hour; 21-year-old plus - £12.21 per hour
• Contract end date: 3 January 2026
• Store hours: Our stores are open 7 days a week; you will need to be able to support weekends, including Sundays
• Available hours: A 12-hour per week contract (e.g., 4-hour shifts over 3 days, or two 6-hour shifts). Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and different days, is helpful
• There may be opportunities for extra hours depending on trade
• All Seasonal Sales Assistant contracts require coverage on Christmas Eve, Boxing Day or New Year’s Eve
