Science Technician - Havering - Immediate Start

Are you a recent University graduate trying to find a new role and are looking at Education as the next step forward into your career? We are working with an Outstanding Secondary school in the heart of Redbridge for a Science Technician to start immediately on a full-time, long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring the safety of the students whilst handling equipment.
  • Making sure that equipment is placed out and ready for when students arrive at class.
  • Providing guidance on how to be safe around tools that can possess a danger if not handled correctly.
  • Keeping on top of equipment and stock levels.
  • As a Science Technician you will need to assist the Teacher with planning or marking work completed by the students.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Ideally a recent graduate with either a first-Class degree or 2:1 degree in a Science field from a Russell Group or Top 20 University in the UK.
  • Experience within a Lab setting before.
  • Valid Visa and Enhanced DBS.
  • Enthusiastic about education and helping GCSE students, providing information to help them with their choices in the future.
