Science Teacher - Towcester

Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire

Role: Science Teacher (KS3-KS4, SEN experience essential)

Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (Temp-to-Perm Potential)

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a range of specialist and inclusive schools in Towcester who are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your love of science with your commitment to inclusive education.

Responsibilities

You will be delivering engaging and differentiated Science lessons to students with a variety of additional needs, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) challenges, and moderate learning difficulties (MLD). Class sizes are small and supported by experienced Teaching Assistants and SEN professionals.

Qualifications & What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science (KS3-KS4)
  • Proven experience teaching or supporting students with SEN
  • Ability to differentiate effectively and implement EHCP strategies
  • Calm, patient, and adaptable teaching approach
  • Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
