Interaction Education are really pleased to currently be recruiting on behalf of one of our partner schools, for a Receptionist/Administrator to join the team on a full time, temporary basis.

The successful candidate must have previous experience working within a school office. Candidates without this experience will not be considered for the role

The key responsibilities for this position can be found below:

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist visitors, students, and parents in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate department or staff member.
  • Maintain accurate school records and data, including student attendance and information.
  • Support with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Organise and schedule meetings, appointments, and events as required.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
  • Assist with the coordination of school events and activities.
  • Provide support for the school leadership team with general office tasks.
Essential Criteria
  • Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role, ideally in a school or educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management software (or willingness to learn).
  • A friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience working in a school environment.
  • First Aid qualification (or willingness to complete training).
  • Knowledge of SIMS or other school management systems.
