Job description
Overview

St Mary's Primary School (incorporating Hedgehogs Nursery) are looking for a School Meal Supervisory Assistant who is committed to maintaining the highest standards whilst providing a fun & nurturing environment that will enable our children to flourish. You will be working 5 hours a week, 1 hour per day, Monday to Friday, term time only. Our lunchtime assistant will help to foster a happy, healthy and safe environment during the lunchbreak, promoting positive attitudes to conduct and behaviour.

  • Support the child in the dining hall and oversee the children on the playground.
  • Contribute to positive play experiences and help resolve differences in a positive way.
  • Work effectively as part of a team and attend to accidents in the playground in accordance with school procedures and guidelines.
  • Commit to ensuring high standards of health, safety and security in line with school policies.
