Job summary

A leading educational organization in Limavady is seeking a Catering Manager to oversee kitchen operations, manage the catering team, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 2 in food preparation and experience in managing budgets and stock control. Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in food preparation/cooking or equivalent, or two years’ experience in a catering establishment.
  • Evidence of supervision or management of catering team.
  • Experience in stock control, budget management, and financial controls.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, provision of special diets, allergens, and ethnic diets.

Responsibilities

  • Execute cooking activities and innovate menu provisions.
  • Organise and supervise all aspects of food service.
  • Overall management of dining centre kitchens.
  • Follow food safety legislation and maintain allergen matrix.
  • Manage deliveries, ordering, storage, and stock-take.
