School Business Manager - Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School
The role

To commence as soon as possible, the Governors of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint a highly motivated School Business Manager with strong organisational skills to join the school’s busy office. This is a varied role with a broad range of responsibilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone suitably experienced to take responsibility for the planning, development and implementation of the financial, administrative and facilities services within school with immediate effect.

We are looking for someone who is naturally positive, committed to our vision and passionate to support the future growth of our Catholic school. If you think you have what it takes to join our friendly and professional team we would love to hear from you. This is a 37 hour per week post, working 39 weeks per year.

Responsibilities
  • Have a very positive ‘can do’ approach to all aspects of work, have excellent interpersonal skills, be highly motivated and have the ability to work well under pressure
  • Be friendly and approachable with a welcoming and professional manner
  • Have a flexible approach to work combined with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential
  • Be well educated, with a minimum of GCSEs in English and mathematics or equivalent (grade C or above). Higher level qualifications are desirable
  • Have excellent communication skills, can use a wide range of technology, and have good ICT skills and experience of using Microsoft Office.
  • Have outstanding communication skills both in person and in all aspects of telephone, written and electronic communication
  • Have experience of working in an educational office environment.
  • Be highly organised with relevant experience with and a passion for financial management and project management
  • Have experience of using school administrative and financial systems, including SIMS, and SIMS FMS, however training will be provided
  • Be proactive in all areas of school business to enable our leadership team to concentrate their time on teaching and learning
  • Model our caring Christian vision and build exceptional relationships throughout our school
