Staff Nurse Ward 114

Inpatient Oncology

37 hour post

We have a vacancy for a full-time Staff Nurse in Ward 114 Oncology Inpatients. We provide highly specialised care for patients with a range of oncological conditions. The care is varied, busy and highly rewarding with patients receiving chemotherapy, supportive and holistic care and acutely unwell unscheduled care. The Anchor Unit is sociable, fast moving and progressive; actively supporting and promoting nurse led activities, development and further study; offering excellent opportunities for both professional and personal development.

The candidate is required to work 12 hour shifts and be willing to work day and night duty. The successful candidate will be required to provide a high standard of person-centred care to individuals and be forward thinking with regards to change management.

Whilst some oncology/oncology experience is desirable it is not essential. It is a requirement that the successful candidate if not currently on the SACT register undertakes a chemotherapy module, there is training, funding and support provided to undertake this.

Interviews will be held in person at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary on 29 October 2025.
