Job description
Job Title: Scrum Master

Location: Hybrid/Malvern
Duration: 6 months with likely extension. Occasional travel to Northolt will be required, customer meetings and 2 day PI planning events every quarter
Rate: Up to 500 per day via an approved umbrella company

P-AIC is delivering a system of systems factory on a cloud platform to create, manage and distribute aeronautical information.

Key Activities
  • Facilitate team events – Agile Teams use cadence-based events to coordinate and sync their efforts. The Scrum Master will facilitate these events and prepare for PI Planning.
  • Facilitate the team in creating a draft PI plan for the PI's iterations, writing draft PI objectives, and identifying ART risks and issues. Create team PI objectives.
  • Help teams create team PI objectives, ensuring they are written before the draft plan review, and that a proper mix of committed and uncommitted goals is present.
  • Review final plans and business value. Establish and maintain the team work board. Track and measure team performance. Implement continuous improvement actions to improve performance.

Responsibilities & Output

Facilitation of Agile ceremonies and support iteration execution (run team sync, retrospective, iteration demos). Collaboration with the Customer (Product Owner) to identify backlog updates and clear dependencies. Promote best practice, mentor colleagues, and identify continuous improvement ideas and presentation of approaches to internal and external colleagues for awareness. Fully engage in the agile development approach, upskilling in SAFe practices where necessary (training can be provided). Support and engage with security, safety and compliance activities, incorporating derived requirements into evolution of the design through life. Support estimation and the change control processes as needed.
