Job Title: SAP Success Factors Security Administrator.

Location: Richmond, VA.

Job Description

The SuccessFactors Security Administrator is responsible for securing and governing Food and Beverage’s SAP SuccessFactors environment across all HR modules. This role ensures employee data is protected in alignment with Food and Beverage’s corporate governance, compliance, and privacy standards while enabling efficient HR operations. The administrator partners with HR, IT Security, Internal Audit, and HR Technology teams to maintain a robust Role-Based Permissions (RBP) model, support audit readiness, and uphold Food and Beverage’s commitment to protecting sensitive information.

Requirements
  • Experience administering SuccessFactors security with strong RBP knowledge.
  • Understanding of HR data structures and employee lifecycle workflows.
  • Familiarity with SOX, GDPR, corporate access controls, and enterprise risk.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for working with HR and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Security & Access Governance:
    • Design, maintain, and optimize SuccessFactors Role-Based Permissions (RBP).
    • Administer user groups, permission roles, workflows, and data access restrictions.
    • Conduct regular access audits and ensure compliance with least‑privilege principles and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
  • Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure security configurations comply with Food and Beverage’s internal controls, SOX requirements, and privacy standards.
    • Prepare documentation and evidence for Internal and External Audit.
    • Maintain detailed security documentation, access records, and change logs.
  • User Provisioning & Support
    • Manage user access throughout onboarding, job changes, and offboarding.
    • Troubleshoot access issues and escalate defects when needed.
    • Provide guidance to HR partners on role assignments and security impacts.
  • System Maintenance & Enhancements
    • Participate in SAP biannual release management and regression testing.
    • Support system enhancements and new module deployments.
    • Maintain updated process documentation and security governance standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with HR Ops, COEs, IT Security, and IAM teams.
    • Provide SME-level guidance on SuccessFactors security best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SuccessFactors certification(s) in Employee Central or Security.
  • Experience with SAP IAS/IPS, SSO, and Azure Active Directory.
  • Background in HRIS, enterprise security, or IT governance.
  • Experience in large, matrixed corporate environments.
