Salesforce Functional Consultant (Contract – Outside IR35)

Rate: 500 per day

Contract Length: Initial 36 months

Location: Hybrid working (UK-based, on-site as required)

Overview

We are supporting a client seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Consultant to join a transformation programme focused on Sales Cloud optimisation, user adoption, and system integrations. This role will work closely with stakeholders to design, configure, and deliver scalable Salesforce solutions, while also supporting light technical delivery where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design across Salesforce Sales Cloud
• Gather and document business requirements through workshops and stakeholder engagement
• Configure Salesforce including objects, fields, validation rules, flows, reports, and dashboards
• Provide functional oversight and hands‑on support with Apex where required
• Support and coordinate integrations with HubSpot, Marketing Cloud, and telephony platforms (including Vonage, Natterbox, and CloudCall)
• Deliver solution design documentation and best practice recommendations
• Run user workshops, training sessions, and adoption initiatives
• Support UAT, deployment, and post‑go‑live optimisation
• Ensure governance, data quality, and platform best practice are maintained

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant on enterprise or mid‑sized implementations
• Strong hands‑on configuration experience within Sales Cloud
• Working knowledge of Apex and the Salesforce technical landscape
• Experience delivering integrations with marketing automation and telephony platforms
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills
• Experience supporting training, change management, and user adoption
• Comfortable working in Agile delivery environments

Certifications (Essential / Highly Desirable)

• Salesforce Certified Administrator (Essential)
• Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant (Highly Desirable)
• Any additional Salesforce certifications are a strong advantage
