Job summary

Position: Salesforce Business Analyst

Employment Type: Contract

Start: ASAP (January/February 2026)

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Berkshire, UK (Hybrid, 1-3 days)

Role – We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to support a major CRM transformation programme for a UK‑based national energy infrastructure organisation. This project is modernising CRM processes and implementing new automated capabilities on the Salesforce platform to enable improved customer engagement, operational efficiency, and data‑driven decision making. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to analyse, document, and optimise CRM processes and ensure alignment with Salesforce best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs to capture business requirements and pain points.
  • Document current‑state and future‑state processes, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Produce BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria with clear traceability to design and delivery.
  • Liaise between business teams and Salesforce delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and validated.
  • Support solution validation with Salesforce architects and developers to ensure alignment with platform capabilities.
  • Prepare scenarios and artefacts to support UAT testing, demos, and end‑to‑end validation.
  • Use tools such as Jira, Confluence, ADO, Visio, Lucidchart, and MS Office for analysis and collaboration.
  • Operate within an Agile / Scrum delivery model and contribute to iterative planning and sprint ceremonies.
Key Skills
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Salesforce or CRM transformation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and related Salesforce modules.
  • Expertise in process mapping, requirements gathering, gap analysis, and documentation.
  • Experience producing BRDs, user stories, and structured acceptance criteria.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
