Sales Support 1-year fixed term contract (Maternity Cover) – Coleshill, Birmingham – c 25,875 + benefits
Responsibilities
- Provide quotations via CRM and process customer orders into the in-house CRM system efficiently and accurately.
- Handle customer enquiries via telephone, provide information on price and stock availability, and problem solve to resolve customer issues.
- Make outbound calls to customers to resolve issues or clarify information relating to accounts or orders; provide product assistance and liaise with colleagues to ensure correct information is provided.
- Work with sales engineers to ensure customers receive the best assistance; liaise with purchasing and manufacturing to meet customer requirements.
- Pick and send product samples to fulfil customer requests; follow up quotations as required.
- Assist with advising customers of new price increases and discount terms where required; handle returns, estimate handling charges, and organise the return and credit process.
- Support a fast-paced environment to achieve and exceed company objectives and KPIs.
Qualifications
- Solid portfolio of GCSEs and A levels.
- At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or sales support position.
- Confident user of the MS suite of packages; experience of SAP / ERP is advantageous.
- Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is desirable.
- High attention to detail with excellent communication and organisational skills.
