About the Role

Grade: 09 (internal). Title: Sales Specialist Regulatory Reporting (EMEA). Location: London (Hybrid). Coverage: EMEA. Languages: European languages preferred. Experience: 1-2 years in Sales or Sales Development roles. Grade: 9 / 10.

Role Overview

Cappitech, part of S&P Global Market Intelligence, is a market leader in regulatory reporting and business intelligence solutions for financial institutions. The platform automates trade data collection, enrichment, and submission to regulators, offering a seamless, accurate, and cost-effective reporting experience.

As an entry-level sales specialist based in London, you will drive lead generation across EMEA and independently manage the entire sales process for Regulatory Trade and Transaction Reporting solutions in your allocated region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of personal sales plans to achieve assigned targets.
  • Support direct sales activities for Regulatory Reporting solutions including lead generation qualification and follow-up.
  • Participate in customer presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Help maintain and develop relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including legal, product management, Chief Client Office (CCO), and Market Intelligence (MI) account managers to support contract execution and renewals and ensure alignment on client strategies and market insights.
  • Contribute to identifying new initiatives and partnership opportunities within the client base.
  • Attend industry conferences and forums as needed.
  • Maintain awareness of competitive activity in the regulatory reporting sector.
  • Support the Cappitech EMEA sales team with sales‑related tasks, assisting with lead generation, client engagement, and sales process completion.
  • Leverage CRM and automation tools to streamline sales and reporting processes.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales or sales development, ideally within financial services or technology.
  • Strong interest in regulatory reporting, capital markets, or financial software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in European languages is highly desirable.
  • Ability to learn quickly and understand product solutions and features.
  • Good interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas through effective business development, client engagement, and execution of sales strategies.
  • Team player with a willingness to progress in a dynamic, fast‑changing environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development in regulatory reporting compliance and sales methodologies.
  • Frequent travel across EMEA to meet clients, attend industry events, or collaborate with internal teams.
