Role summary

Sales Manager is a true ambassador of the Company. The role will take ownership to lead, coach and build client relationships. You will be responsible for motivating your teams to ensure sales excellence while delivering the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities
Sales
  • Deliver budgeted sales.
  • Create a customer centric culture by continually reviewing our service proposition to exceed customers’ expectations as we strive to be market leaders.
  • Understand the importance of Host Store and other concession relationships and maintain them consistently.
  • Take initiative and ownership to act instinctively to improve the business.
  • Review brand performance to enhance commercial decisions.
  • Contribute to the development of the department in line with consumer demands and business opportunities.
  • Effectively schedule and oversee staff planning to ensure maximum floor coverage in line with core hours.
  • Maintain high standards of staff presentation and ensure adherence to store guidelines.
Service
  • Create a customer centric environment across the business. Train, coach and develop the team to build new client relationships and maintain/develop existing ones.
  • Monitor test shop results, CRM, create service action plans and develop the team to consistently achieve Company standards.
  • Establish a client-focused mindset to ensure the highest level of client experience is met; oversee the team to manage client relationships and client books.
People
  • Recruit new team members in conjunction with GM, following Kurt Geiger Recruitment policy.
  • Adhere to company and Host Store policies and communicate them effectively to employees.
  • Invest in the development of your team to enable peak performance.
  • Foster positive relationships with co-workers and the Group General Manager.
  • Promote a positive, collaborative atmosphere across all areas of the floor.
  • Communicate KPIs and manage on an ongoing basis through performance reviews and effective leadership.
Operations
  • Adhere to company and Host Store policies and ensure they are understood and followed by employees.
  • Take ownership of daily hygiene ceremonies and ensure they are carried out.
  • Ensure opening and closing standards are completed daily.
  • Have a full understanding of operations and back-of-house standards, including stock room.
KPIs
  • Meet sales in line with company targets.
  • Achieve Host Store and Company Sales, Mystery Shopper and Productivity targets.
  • Achieve retention and labour turnover targets.
  • Contribute to payroll targets.
  • Audit at +/- 0.3% or below.
  • Meet event targets (percentage of sales revenue).
  • Meet or exceed the 10% target for client book sales.
Qualifications / Experience
  • Currently working at Senior Manager within a high turnover business
  • Experience of managing large teams
  • Prior history of P&L accountability and driving bottom line contribution
  • Proven ability to drive performance through people
  • Excellent at building internal and external relationships
  • Background with a fashion-forward footwear, accessory or fashion brand - luxury experience preferred
  • Representative of our luxury/fashion forward brand in every way
