  • Drive operational excellence and performance - raising site profile and accountability for manufacturing teams and delivery KPIs

Are you an experienced commercial leader with a proven track record in managing large project tenders and leading high‑performing teams? A dynamic and growing organization is seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Manager (Projects) to join their Senior Leadership Team and take ownership of key commercial and operational sales functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the external commercial function as a pivotal member of the Senior Leadership Team on site.
  • Manage the full bid process including negotiating contractual commercial and technical terms.
  • Oversee expediting and delivery of all sales orders working closely with operations team members on quotation and invoicing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Director‑level decision‑makers to position the organization as the supplier of choice in its target markets.
  • Collaborate across business functions to implement commercial and operational processes that support business growth and profit goals.
About You
  • Engineering qualifications or experience.
  • Proven experience negotiating large project tenders and operating at senior commercial management level.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of setting objectives, leading teams and fostering development. This role will require some tough leadership.
  • Demonstrated success working cross‑functionally to drive on‑time and full delivery meeting sales and production targets.
  • Exceptional organisational and time‑management abilities.
