Sales Manager

Location: Longwell Green, Bristol

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

We're seeking a Sales Manager to join a well-established and growing company based in Bristol. You'll step into a supportive, welcoming environment where your contribution will be valued from day one. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a small but ambitious sales team and play a pivotal role in driving business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a small but growing sales team to exceed targets.
  • Ensure all sales leads are followed up effectively and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director and Head of Business Development on projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals.
  • Drive sales performance to meet and exceed company goals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships at all levels.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the market.
  • Analyse sales performance and produce accurate forecasts and reports.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong track record in sales management, with proven success in achieving and exceeding targets.
  • Experience leading and motivating a sales team.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills, both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Confident in generating, nurturing, and converting leads.
  • Skilled in client engagement and relationship-building.
  • Organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Commercially aware, adaptable to market trends, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competent in using CRM systems (HubSpot experience highly advantageous).
  • Background in the building/construction industry would be beneficial.
