Job summary

A well-established trend-led supplier in Leicester is seeking a Sales Account Manager. This role focuses on managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, strong connections with Buyers in retail, and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include relationship building, driving sales growth, and collaborating with design teams. Knowledge of knitwear products is a plus. We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join a well‑established, trend‑led supplier. This role will focus on managing existing accounts while also developing new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will already have strong connections with Buyers across mid‑to‑value‑focused online retailers, high‑street retailers, or supermarkets. You will work as part of a collaborative team of designers and garment technologists, reporting directly to the Director.

Main Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing accounts
  • Drive sales growth through upselling, cross‑selling, and introducing new clients via your network
  • Collaborate closely with design teams on product development tailored to customer needs
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery timelines with the design and production teams
  • Demonstrate strong commercial awareness of margins while working with merchandisers and buyers
  • Manage high‑volume orders effectively and in a timely manner
