Role Overview – Sales Manager, Solar PV

As Sales Manager, you’ll go beyond traditional sales. You’ll manage strategic growth, lead a team, and oversee projects from lead generation through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Solar PV sales division, driving revenue and performance
  • Recruit, develop, and manage your own team as demand grows
  • Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation to project close
  • Oversee project delivery, coordinating materials, subcontractors, and schedules
  • Develop and implement efficient processes and SOPs
  • Shape your own career path – scale the sales function or transition into operations
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in Solar PV sales or renewable energy (essential)
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, motivate, and develop a team
  • Hands-on, proactive approach with a passion for renewable energy
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (~50% of the time)
  • Able to commute to Blackburn (hybrid working available)
