In this role you’ll be:

  • Ensuring Scania Bus & Coach specifications align with current type approval requirements
  • Collaborating with colleagues to navigate and resolve technical deviations
  • Offering clear, confident guidance on engineering solutions to our dealer network, customers, and bodybuilders
  • Representing Scania at industry events and exhibitions
  • Providing insight into new product introductions, offering both technical and legislative support
  • Gathering and submitting market-led product development ideas
  • Supporting internal and external training with your technical expertise

About you:

  • Technical knowledge – previous experience working in a similar environment, with a good grounding in technical knowledge.
  • Process driven – capable of following the correct processes to secure vehicle approvals and bring projects to completion.
  • Attention to detail – effectively manage multiple moving parts, maintaining all documentation, working to ensure accurate completion of tasks.
  • Confident communicator – regularly communicating with colleagues and customers, both verbally and via email.
  • Initiative – the ability to deal with situations and issues proactively.
