Location: Globe House, Skyline 120, Great Notley, Braintree, CM77 7AF
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum
Contract: 11 months, full-time (40 hours per week) Likley to turn into a permanent position
Working Pattern: Office-based

About the Role

Actio Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive Sales Co‑ordinator to join our client's busy Sales team. This is a key role ensuring the smooth running of daily and weekly sales operations, supporting business functions, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction. You will be the first point of contact for customers, managing quotations through to delivery, and providing vital administrative and reporting support to the wider business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the sales process from quotation logging through to product delivery
  • Create parts, scan drawings, and build quotes using the MRP system
  • Liaise directly with customers, providing a professional and friendly service
  • Produce monthly performance reports for key customers
  • Generate business metrics reports to support quality systems
  • Chase quotations and follow up with clients
  • Act as first point of contact for customer queries
  • Support administrative functions relating to the AS9100 Quality System (training provided)
  • Assist in exploring new business opportunities
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' administrative experience
  • Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently and complete tasks to a high standard
  • Background knowledge in business administration
  • Interest in engineering/manufacturing and willingness to learn
  • Exposure to HR and Quality Systems is advantageous
