The Sales Director is a key driver of Sojern's business-to-business sales within the media agency landscape. This role focuses on establishing Sojern as the travel data provider of choice for agencies planning and executing travel advertising campaigns. The Sales Director will achieve this by developing, growing, and managing relationships with major holding company agencies, with a core emphasis on promoting and selling Sojern's Travel Audiences.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to position Sojern's Travel Audiences as the premier solution for agencies seeking to reach and engage travel audiences.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and influencers within major holding company agencies.
- Secure new agency‑level agreements for the use of Sojern's Travel Audiences in advertising campaigns.
- Manage and grow existing agency relationships, identifying opportunities to expand the utilization of Sojern's Travel Audiences across various campaigns and initiatives.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert on Sojern's Travel Audiences, effectively articulating their value proposition and benefits to agency clients.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, marketing, customer success) to ensure seamless delivery and optimization of Sojern's Travel Audiences to agency partners.
- Maintain accurate records of agency interactions and sales activities in Salesforce.
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets, focusing on increasing the adoption and usage of Sojern's Travel Audiences.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 6 years of digital and programmatic advertising sales experience, with significant focus on media agencies and data‑driven solutions.
- Proven track record of securing agency‑level agreements for data products or services.
- Strong network of contacts within the media agency world.
- Deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and audience data’s role in digital advertising.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, G Suite, and Office products.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
