An established, fast-growing company operating in the health and wellness space is seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Director to lead its next phase of international growth.
This business partners with global brands, major retailers and high-growth challengers to bring innovative, high-quality ingestible products and delivery formats to market. With decades of technical expertise and a strong reputation for quality and reliability, the company is now scaling rapidly across multiple regions including Europe, the Middle East and North America.
This is a newly created, senior leadership role with real influence - ideal for a commercially astute operator who thrives in fast-moving, innovation-led environments.
As Sales Director, you’ll own the global commercial strategy, drive revenue growth across established and emerging markets, and build a high-performing sales function capable of scaling with the business. Giving clear accountability and ownership to the team, you’ll lead by example, taking the reins with high level customer negotiations and commercial partnerships.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how the company is positioned internationally, identifying new opportunities, and translating evolving consumer and buyer trends into commercial success. You’ll bring fresh thinking and momentum to new business development, working closely with technical and product teams to translate customer needs into scalable solutions.
You’ll already be at Head of Sales or Sales Director level in an international business that operates in the wellness space, whether that’s sports nutrition, lifestyle nutrition, supplements, health ingredients or nutraceuticals. With significant experience already in the team, isn’t an opportunity to step up or to learn a new industry, even if you have a real interest in the category from a personal perspective.
You’ll already lead a team of at least 4 commercial personnel, although a larger team (8+) would be preferred.
You’ll have an in-depth knowledge of the movers and shakers in the health and wellness space – both in the UK and on an international basis. Brands, retailers, suppliers and contract manufacturers will all come into play.
Finally, you’ll be able to demonstrate success in significantly growing a company in this market. With clear, achievable goals of 8-figure growth over the next two years (we’ll tell you more about the company’s capabilities and why it's so well positioned a bit later down the line), we’ll need to see evidence of how you’ve delivered commercial growth in your current and past positions.
