Your Purpose

As a Sales Degree Apprentice, you’ll join a dynamic three‑year programme designed to build your expertise across the full breadth of our Commercial function. You’ll rotate through at least three roles, gaining hands‑on experience in commercial excellence and developing a deep understanding of key sales activities across both on‑trade (bars, restaurants, hospitality) and off‑trade (retail, supermarkets, convenience).

You’ll gain hands‑on experience working with various Sales teams, developing critical skills in:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Building strong partnerships tailored to the unique demands of on‑trade and off‑trade customers.
  • Business Development: Identifying growth opportunities and crafting strategies that align with the distinct dynamics of both markets.
  • Marketing & Selling: Understanding consumer behaviour and designing campaigns that resonate with hospitality venues and retail audiences alike.
  • Team Management: Leading and collaborating with teams to drive performance and achieve sales targets across different trade channels.

This apprenticeship is your gateway to mastering the art of sales in competitive markets, while exploring how different business areas contribute to overall success. By the end of the programme, you’ll have gained in‑depth experience, leadership capabilities, and a Chartered Management Degree from Aston University, preparing you for a future in commercial leadership.
