A leading global food manufacturer based in York is offering a Sales Apprenticeship that provides enthusiastic individuals with hands-on experience in sales and customer management. This exciting scheme prepares apprentices for a future role as a National Account Manager, with extensive support from mentors and opportunities to develop crucial sales skills. The salary is £25,125 per annum with excellent benefits, while also allowing for dedicated study time each week.

As aSalesApprentice,you’llworkas part of our Salesand Commercial CategoryTeams, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.You’llrotate through diverse placements such as sales operations, eCommerce, category management, and account management, collaborating with colleagues and engaging directly withkeycustomers.
With help from experienced mentors,you’lllearn new skills, work with different teams, meet customers, and help drive our business forward.Onceyouhavecompletedthe scheme,you’llideallybeina greatpositiontostep into aNational Account Managerrole—leading important customer relationships and helping Nestlé succeed.
Plus, you’ll have one day a week dedicated to your studies. This is your time to focus on the theory behind sales, work on your degree modules, and reflect on whatyou’re learning on the job. You’ll be able to apply your new knowledge directly to your work, helping you grow even faster.

This is the current apprenticeship programme but could be subject to change by Skills England ahead of your 2026 start date.

If you qualify, we will invite you to complete an online assessment, which can practice here. Please do not upload a CV, instead we ask you to upload any relevant qualifications to support your application.
Once you have completed this stage, we will notify you if you are selected to attend an assessment day which will be in February, March or April 2026. It may take a little bit of time between assessment stages to get back to you, we really appreciate your patience.
