Sales Account Manager
Location: Camberley
Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 + Commission
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm

My client, a fast-growing FMCG food-related company, is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their dynamic team. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the growth of new business while nurturing and expanding relationships with existing customers. This is a key position focused on driving revenue and ensuring customer satisfaction.

To be considered for this role, you must have experience in sales and account management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing customers to maximise all business opportunities.
  • Increase revenue and category share within the current customer base.
  • Use customer data and insights to grow turnover and meet/exceed sales targets.
  • Implement promotions and sales campaigns to deepen customer engagement.
  • Achieve sales and cash targets through effective pipeline and prospecting activities.
  • Meet individual performance indicators and business objectives while contributing to overall team success.
  • Plan and manage your geographic area efficiently to maximise productivity.
  • Monitor low or non-trading accounts to support customer retention efforts.
  • Proactively manage new and existing customer activity, ensuring regular communication and follow-up.
  • Maintain a robust weekly call schedule to ensure consistent customer engagement.
  • Increase brand presence and product saturation within your customer portfolio.
  • Record all activities and customer interactions accurately via CRM system.
